The picture above shows the locations of the connectors on the XIRO16 board. These are:

Relays 0, 1 and 2 and relays 3, 4 and 5 (SPST)

These two 6-pin connectors access the contacts on the six SPST (normally open) relays. Each relays’ contacts come out to a pair of pins.

Relays 6 and 7 (SPDT)

These two 3-pin connectors access the SPDT (change-over) contacts of relays 6 and 7. The middle pin is common, while the normally open (NO) and normally closed (NC) contacts are as marked.

Inputs

The 8 inputs are on a 10-pin connector. A 0V and +supply pin are provided for convenience. An input is ON when the input pin is connected to 0V.

Control connection in (SPx IN)

This 8-pin connector is the control input from the SPLat controller (host) board. It must be connected via a suitable cable assembly to the SPx connector on the host.

Control connection out (SPx OUT)

This 8-pin connector can be connected to another SPx board’s control input (SPx IN) connector. In this way several boards can be daisychained together.

PWR

Power is supplied to the board via this connector.
