DTS2-RTD / DTS2-TC
The SPLat DIN Family of controllers are an ideal solution for any job that needs a cheap programmable PLC inside a cabinet. Each product in the DIN Family is a fully programmable controller, so it can either be used by itself or wired up with other family members to get more I/O.
Use this controller alone, or join it to the DT16 with 16 I/Os, DM16 with 16 I/Os, DR8 with 8 relays, DR204A with 8 relays and mixed I/Os and/or DA8 with mixed I/Os to get even more I/O capability.
The DTS2 is an easy and quick way to add accurate temperature measurements together with a rich mix of digital and analogue IOs into a cabinet. With two Resistance Temperature Detector (RTD) inputs for DTS2-RTD or two thermocouple inputs for DTS2-TC variants, as well as two Temperature/Current/Voltage selectable analogue inputs, one 0-10V analogue input, five bi-directional DIOs and a fully programmable controller, this may be all you need to get the job done.
The DTS2-RTD has two input channels for connecting RTD sensors (2-wire or 3-wire). Standard production controllers accept PT100 RTDs; a special order is required for PT1000 RTDs (p/n DTS2-RTD1K).
The DTS2-TC has two input channels for connecting thermocouple sensors. Standard production controllers accept type K thermocouples; a special order is required for J-, N-, T-, S-, R- or E-type thermocouples (p/n DTS2-TCJ, etc.).
