We start by ensuring the links on the SX10507 are correctly installed for the demonstration software.

The dual row of Xwire address jumpers next to the TTL Xwire connectors should all be removed. This will set the address of the SX10507 to be zero, which is what the software expects.

LK1 behind the BNC socket should be installed. This sets the amplifier gain for pH probe level signals rather than ORP probe signals.

The Xwire mode link marked “X RS485″ should be in the X position to enable TTL Xwire communications. Using the RS485 option is not covered in this document.

The “Term” link next to the terminal block at the Xwire connector end can be left off.

This completes the set up of the option links.
