Agency (regulatory) compliance and approvals are a vexing subject. We serve customers all over the world, and requirements vary from region to region and from industry to industry. We have a great deal of experience with gaining approvals in many countries.

We will design to comply with the technical standards we are advised of prior to quoting for the development. We may ask you to supply copies of the relevant standards.

In most jurisdictions a product must be approved in its totality. Just because the individual parts are all individually approved or certified it does not mean the final product is automatically approved. How you package our controller within your product will affect its ability to comply. For example, a metal case will reduce radio emissions, whereas inappropriate lead dress may make the controller it very susceptible to noise. Therefore you will at some stage have to take on responsibility for the the overall technical compliance of your total product. We will be available to assist you with technical backup during that process, and we will make any necessary adjustments to our design free of charge (assuming they relate to the standards in the specification).
