• Description

  The HD8 features a bright, easy to read 3-digit numeric display and three push buttons. It has 4 bidirectional digital I/O points, with drive capacity up to 870mA, 2 analog inputs and 2 analog outputs. It is fully expandable with our standard digital expansion boards, and supports Xwire networking to connect together multiple SPLat controllers and/or advanced peripheral boards.

  Typical applications include custom temperature controllers (with built in machine sequencing logic), custom batch counters or any other machine controls where a basic user interface is required at minimal cost.

• While the HD8 looks quite simple (and it is simple to use!), it is at heart a full SPLat controller with powerful capabilities like:

  • ModBus communications
  • Counters
  • Quadrature decoder
  • Expandable and networkable
  • Floating point arithmetic
  • Built in multitasking — 32 processes for the price of one
  • PID control
  • Heavy duty, real world inputs and outputs

   

  The HD8 can be teamed up with our AC24 HVAC controller as well as our whole range of Xwire peripherals. These include functions such as:
