HMI430/700: Xwire port (TTL level)
Like all good SPLat controllers, the HMI430/700 has 2 headers for TTL Xwire making it easy to place the HMI in a daisy-chain of Xwire peripherals. One of the Xwire pins is 0V, the other is the communications line. Just connect pin 1 to pin 1 and pint 2 to pin 2 for all devices. Refer to Xwire instructions for programming information.
TTL Xwire is a cheap solution for wiring Xwire devices within a cabinet. If you need it, Xwire also supports RS485 allowing Xwire devices to be located over 1km away.
