Knowledge Base

This document provides you with detailed technical information on the SPLat MMiXXX programmable controllers. It covers the MMi203, MMi202A, MMi202, MMi201, MMi200, and MMi99. These models are successive generations of the same base design, which has evolved over time starting with the MMi99. The MMi99 is (was) itself evolved out of the MMi88. They all have the same physical size and shape and external connections. The differences are in the size and capacity (memory and speed) of the processor and in the feature sets.

The document has been updated to reflect the most recent design, the MMi203 (first shipped around January 2013). The earlier designs, MMi201, MMi202A, MMi202, MMi200, and MMi99, can be regarded as subsets of the MMi203 and are also covered by implication. Any differences between the MMi203 and the older models are pointed out.

This document is part of the SPLat Knowledge Base (SKB). The SKB is a comprehensive collection of documents covering all technical aspects of the SPLat product. It is published in electronic formats (HTML-Help and HTML) and is also available electronically as a series of document files you can print out yourself. By publishing the documents only in electronic form, we not only save some trees but are also able to make updates available to you very quickly on our website. We suggest you check our Website periodically to ensure you have the most recent version.
