MS120: Differences from previous model

MS120 versus MS12
  • The MS120 uses a newer, faster processor. It runs nearly 2.5 times faster (all timing instructions, of course, run at the correct speed).
  • The analog inputs and outputs are now 10-bit resolution. To take advantage of the added resolution you must use fAnIn and fAnOut instructions. Analog I/O requires an add-on SPice board such as SPice102011.
  • Approximately 5 times as much user flash memory – programs can now be up to approximately 25K.
  • The MS120 has Xwire to take advantage of a growing range of peripheral boards and networking with other SPLat controllers.
  • The MS120 has ModBus RTU slave capability
