MS120: Product overview
The MS120 is a SPLat single board programmable logic controller that includes a number of innovative features. Key features are:
- 8 bidirectional digital I/O points. Each can be used as an input or as an output.
- 4 digital inputs which can be set to operate in NPN or PNP modes.
- Onboard Operator Interface, with optional Liquid Crystal Display (LCD);
- A versatile power supply scheme
- An extremely flexible range of expansion possibilities.
The most unusual feature of the SPLat MS120 is its built in operator interface. This gives you push buttons, indicators and a liquid crystal display (optional) to allow interaction with an operator. It also gives you the ability to tailor the appearance of your end product via a plastic graphical membrane overlay.
The MS120 is supplied a several different packages.
MS120OEM. This is the “production” version of the board (only) without liquid crystal display.
MS120DK216. This is the Developer’s Kit. It consists of the MS120 board plus programming software, programming cable and a set of matching connectors;
