It is your responsibility to ensure that the current carrying wire you feed through the current transformer on the SPice 10204 is insulated in accordance with your local regulations. In particular, if it is part of a mains (or higher voltage) circuit it may carry dangerous voltage levels. While the CT itself is insulated to 2500VAC (not a particularly high spec relative to European standards!), there is no such insulation on the rest of the board. Part of your safety precautions should therefore include anchoring the current wire in such a way that it can never touch any part of the SPLat components other than the CT itself.

If you have any doubts about this use an external CT as an isolation barrier.

The SPice 10204 is sold as a component, for inclusion in an end product or system in accordance with all relevant local regulations and standards. In using the SPice 10204 you are assuming full responsibility for compliance with such regulations and standards. If this is not acceptable to you please return the SPice 10204 to the supplier for a full refund of the purchase price.
