SPice10214: Introduction
The SPice10214 lets you interface up to 3 potentiometers to a compatible SPLat controller board. It also contains one onboard potentiometer, giving you up to 4 “analog” settings. Typical uses would be “knob” setting of multiple timers or a temperature in an applications where a knob is easier for an operator that using buttons (digital) setting.
The SPice10214 is a Touch of SPice board. This is the name applied to one of the several expansion systems supported within the SPLat Expansion Framework. The board may be used with MMi99/MMi200, MS12 and SL99 controllers. It does not follow that future controllers will also support it … the Touch of SPice system is a very low cost expansion scheme that does not guarantee compatibility across the whole family of SPLat controller products.
