SX10500: Thermocouple connections
The two pairs of screw terminals labelled 0V/TH1 and 0V/TH2 are for connecting the thermocouples. You can only use K-type thermocouples with this board. The thermocouple manufacturer will tell you which lead is positive. The negative lead goes to 0V and the positive to TH1/TH2. If you are using only one channel use TH1.
Make sure that the thermocouple is fully insulated and has no connection to earth. Thermocouples work at extremely low voltage levels and readings are easily upset by any noise or hum.
There are a number of tricks of the trade when using thermocouples. Google it.
