Set the RecNum register to the number nnnn. Raise a fatal error if the value exceeds the capacity of the RecNum register (on 8-bit controllers only). On 32-bit controllers RecNum may be any 32-bit number, but this may cause unintended consequences (or a fatal error) when accessing the memory.
