Knowledge Base

Writes the time from HH (hours), MM (minutes) and DM (day mask) to RTC event e. The events are non-volatile, i.e. they are preserved when the power goes off. For more information see the RTC documentation for your specific controller.

The event number e will be jndexed when executed inside a MultiTrack task and will be indexed if the instruction is preceded by the IasJ: precode.

The memory used to store RTC events may have a finite write cycle endurance. That means executing too many RTCWriteEvent instructions may damage it. This is documented under individual products.

Please refer to the product documentation for your particular controller to find out how many events it supports.
