SPLogger: Installation
The SPLogger program is distributed as a single installation file called install.exe. It is distributed on our Resources CD and is also available online in the downloads section of our website. To install SPLogger simply double click the installation file and follow the prompts. The default folder for installation is in a common SPLat folder structure. It is recommended that you stick with that structure as it will impact future consolidation with the SPLat Knowledge Base.
If you want the VB6 source files you can get them off the SPLat resource disk or download them. They appear to work out of the box (it’s always hard to know when moving VB6 sources from one machine to another!). SLCom.ocx needs to be installed, but that happens when you install SPLogger. If VB6 complains about the ocx not being present, you may need to manually re-insert it in the toolbox and the SPLogger form. Usually you will first have to get rid of a picturebox called SLCom1.
